Master of Education (M.Ed.)

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor degree in a related area from universities recognised by Universiti Putra Malaysia with cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of not less than 3.00.
• A candidate with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) less than 3.00 can be considered if they have related working experience after having obtained a Bachelor degree.
• Candidates applying for Master of Education in Guidance & Counselling and Teaching of English as a First Language (TESL) must pass an interview conducted by the Faculty.

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor degree in a related area from universities recognised by Universiti Putra Malaysia with cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of not less than 3.00.
• A candidate with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) less than 3.00 can be considered if they have related working experience after having obtained a Bachelor degree.
• Candidates applying for Master of Science in Guidance & Counselling and Teaching of English as a First Language (TESL) must pass an interview conducted by the Faculty.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Applicants must have:

• A Master degree in a related area from universities recognised by Universiti Putra Malaysia.
• Candidates applying for a PhD Guidance & Counselling and Teaching of English as a First Language (TESL) at the the Faculty of Educational Studies must pass and interview conducted by the Faculty.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME

Master Degree Programmes

A Master degree programme is to be completed within a minimum period of three semesters and a maximum period of six semesters.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

A PhD degree programme is to be completed within a minimum period of four semesters and a maximum period of ten semesters.
