(FPP) Sea Games Athletes Appreciation Event
UPM FPP , October 02 - A total of 29 athletes from the Faculty of Educational Studies have been selected representing the country in various events in the SEA Games 2017 which was held from 19th to 30th August 2017. Next two lecturers from the Department of Sports were involved direct with the SEA Games as the Deputy Manager of Malaysia Netball Team (Kok Lian Yee) and the ASEAN Sports Basketball Team Manager (Dr. Chee Chen Soon) held after the SEA Games.
Of these 24 athletes have won medals during the sport The netball and basketball teams have also won medals during the tournament.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
Appreciate excellence in sports that has been demonstrated by athletes and lecturers involved in the past SEA Games.
Make the commitment and dedication that has been shown to be an example and follow to other Bachelor of Physical Education students.
Becoming a stepping-stone to a brilliant performance, in the future will also bring the name of the Faculty and University in international tournaments.
